Katherine lives in Denver, Colorado and is a recognized subject matter expert by the US Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy.
She serves as a Director on the Board of the Washington Initiative for Supported Employment and Imagine Enterprise in Texas, is a co-founder of Familes at the Forefront of Technology and former organization consultant at the University of N. Colorado. She also served as Chair of the Colorado Development Disabilities Council.
Ms. Carol is tri-chair to Colorado’s innovative Employment First Advisory Partnership and State Rehabilitation Council. Ms. Carol has extensive work history assisting people with IDD to secure supported or customized employment. She consults and speaks on organizational transformation and working with parents of special needs children and is the parent of Mikelle, her adult daughter with special needs.
