Guardianship, Alternatives to Guardianship, Estate Planning, and Special Needs Trusts

Why should someone have a guardianship? What are some alternatives to guardianship? Why is estate planning important for family members of those who have disabilities? What is a special needs trust and what types are there? What is the DDETF and what are ABLE accounts? This presentation will address all of these issues in a simple, informal way.

- Why estate planning is important
- What types of special needs trust is exist, and why they are important
