Boots on the Ground: Employment Consultant Community of Practice Seminar
In collaboration with the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration, Wise is pleased to announce the Boots on the Ground: Employment Consultant Community of Practice! Comprised of two sessions per week, this Community of Practice will offer hands on examples and opportunities to see innovative direct service from employment providers across the State of Washington. Tuesday seminars will occur each week from 9:30 to 11:30am PST, and Friday workshops will provide follow up conversation and activities based on the Tuesday content from 9:30 to 10:30am PST. These events are open to all and free of charge.
*Attending the Tuesday seminar is not required in order to participate in Friday's workshop, although you are encouraged to do so. Recordings of Tuesday's events will be made available the following Wednesday to those who could not attend. Register for the Friday workshop that corresponds with this event by visiting to the Wise Calendar (scheduled for Friday of that same week).
Discovery - Digging Deeper for Success
Please join us on Tuesday, April 27 for our seminar, "Discovery - Digging Deeper for Success" with Trillium.
Digging deeper with Discovery allows employment professionals to create the most successful placements. In this course you will learn alternative communication styles that allow you to uncover your clients’ preferences and personality. You will learn how to create assessments that help you to gain the best understanding of the individuals you serve.

*Please note: Wise maintains registration and attendance records for our events and training programs. Wise is required to monitor participation in our courses and provide reports to our funding sources so that they may utilize these records in the course of their audits of programs. Reports are provided to ensure there is documented proof of the appropriate use of government funds for the purposes of professional development. Attendees that participate in our events and/or complete training programs will receive a certificate to document participation as back up for billing purposes.

Miranda Fort has been with Trillium Employment services since 2017. Prior to coming to Trillium, Miranda worked in medical and therapeutic advocacy for military families. Miranda specializes in Positive Behavior Supports.
Miranda enjoys learning about the individuals she serves as a whole person and using what brings someone joy to lead employment exploration. She believes that carving positions around an individual’s strengths and passions will lead to lasting job placements and higher success in their role.
