Boots on the Ground: Employment Consultant Community of Practice Workshop
In collaboration with the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration, Wise is pleased to announce the Boots on the Ground: Employment Consultant Community of Practice! Comprised of two sessions per week, this Community of Practice will offer hands on examples and opportunities to see innovative direct service from employment providers across the State of Washington. Tuesday seminars will occur each week from 9:30 to 11:30am PST, and Friday workshops will provide follow up conversation and activities based on the Tuesday content from 9:30 to 10:30am PST. These events are open to all and free of charge.
*Attending the Tuesday seminar is not required in order to participate in Friday’s workshop, although you are encouraged to do so. Recordings of Tuesday’s events will be made available the following Wednesday to those who could not attend.

*Please note: Wise maintains registration and attendance records for our events and training programs. Wise is required to monitor participation in our courses and provide reports to our funding sources so that they may utilize these records in the course of their audits of programs. These reports may include actual time spent by attendee name, event/training title, county and state. Reports are provided to ensure there is documented proof of the appropriate use of government funds for the purposes of professional development. Attendees that participate in our events and/or complete training programs will receive a certificate to document participation as back up for billing purposes.

Meet the Panel:
|Ehraina McDonald brings over twenty years of experience in the Human Service profession. Ehraina started in the Home Health Care field and joined the ENSO team in 2006. Ehraina continues her passion for supporting people with all abilities while obtaining and maintaining employment with a person centered approach. Ehraina enjoys hitting the ground and networking with various people in the community, supporting the ENSO team and challenging herself to think outside the box while creating tools to assist the supported employment profession.|
Christina LeaseMy name is Christina Lease. I am a Service coordinator for ENSO with a specialty in benefits planning. I received my certificate through Cornell University in November 2018 to provide benefits planning support. I have provided over 200 benefits plans to customers in need. I work closely with our School to Work participants as well as all other participants we support. Outside of working with customers to understand their Social Security and State benefits I also provide direct service to customers as well as students in the Spokane County School to Work program. I as well as the other service coordinators have also been providing staff motivated trainings to further support staff and our participants throughout this pandemic.
Amy Fiddes has twenty years of teaching experience throughout various communities. Since 2016 Amy has worked as a Service Coordinator with ENSO. During her time with ENSO, she has had the privilege of becoming a Person Centered Plan Facilitator as well as facilitating many best practice trainings for direct service. ENSO is assists customers to value and inspire all voices and dreams that enrich lives and communities. Amy’s passion for discovery has allowed her the opportunity to support individuals beginning their journey toward a first job as well as those who have maintained long term employment. She continues to support individuals and teams realize their potential and maintain best practices.
