Lisa grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and earned a bachelor’s degree in Education through Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a dual certification in Special and Elementary Education. Before relocating to Seattle, she lived in several places including Pennsylvania, Australia, Egypt, Hawaii, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City. She spent her time in those places attending school and completing coursework, as well as working as an ABA therapist, special education teacher, direct services worker, and respite care provider. She is now attending school at the University of Washington where she is working towards obtaining a master’s degree in Special Education with Applied Behavior Analysis. She loves traveling both in the US and internationally. In her free time, she enjoys photography, hiking, jogging, yoga, attending concerts and music festivals, and going on short or long road trips.
