We interviewed 23 LGBTQ+ adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from across the US. Our research team included LGBTQ+ researchers with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities with many years of personal and professional experience. In this presentation, we will share what we have learned about how LGBTQ+ adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities want to be treated and supported so they can express who they are. We will share free accessible online resources for supporting gender and sexual expression.
