Job Foundation Community of Practice
The Washington State Job Foundation and Transition Community of Practice Series runs on the third Tuesday of the month beginning in December, from 1:00 to 2:30, through the month of June.
All transition stakeholders are invited to attend, including employment providers, school representatives, DVR counselors, DDA case managers, counties, students and families. Come learn about the Job Foundation program and help increase employment outcomes for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in your community.
Language Access Forum Series
The Language Access Forum Series is a 6-part Statewide facilitated conversation among Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities stakeholders about language access services. We encourage professionals working in the IDD community to attend who have the goal of providing better supports to people who use forms of communication other than spoken English.
This series is collaboratively funded by the following entities: Kittitas County, Snohomish County, Benton-Franklin County, Whatcom County, Pierce County, Kitsap County, Lewis County, Jefferson County and Washington State DVR
Wise Learning Center Online Learning Portal
We are pleased to invite you to the Wise Learning Center, our e-learning portal powered by Litmos, that hosts over 250 + hours of on-demand content. Our content includes an On-Demand Library, À La Carte Collections, CESP pre-approved courses and training offerings for Washington State residents and beyond.
Wise Online Academy ACRE 100 Series
The Wise Online Academy (WOA) 100 Series is an online training series based on customized employment core competencies. It is designed to provide employment professionals the training, knowledge, and skills they need to deliver quality customized competitive integrated employment services to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Wise Online Academy 200 Series
The Wise Online Academy 200 Series is an advanced level training program, which will provide an intensive course of study guided by a professional mentor and participation in student cohorts. The program is intended for employment professionals who have some experience and training in the field and wish to continue to develop their skills to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to gain employment and become contributing members of their communities.
Wise Webinar Series
Wise is so pleased to announce that Wednesday Webinars are back! In partnership with the Washington State Developmental Disability Administration, Wise will be hosting webinars most Wednesdays for the foreseeable future, and at no cost to you! We look forward to hosting partners, consultants, advocates, and familiar faces from our Boots project. These are one-hour events on Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm and we hope the shorter event is easier for you to attend!
